Yes. All work is carried out by qualified, licensed A-Grade electricians in line with the AS/NZS 3000 Australian Wiring Rules and Energy Safe Victoria (ESV) requirements. We also carry public liability insurance.
We service homes and businesses across Melbourne's inner west, west, south-west and north-west, including Footscray, Williamstown, Sunshine, Caroline Springs, Tarneit, Point Cook, Werribee and Melton. See our Service Areas page for the full list of suburbs, or call us on 0406 269 922 if you are not sure we cover you.
Yes. For completed electrical work we provide a Victorian Certificate of Electrical Safety (COES), and for prescribed work we also lodge it with Energy Safe Victoria, confirming the work was tested and compliant. Keep your certificate with your property records, as insurers and buyers may ask for it.
In Victoria, almost all fixed electrical work, such as replacing power points, downlights, switches or anything inside the switchboard, must be done by a licensed electrician. Unlicensed work can be unsafe, may be illegal and can affect your insurance. Changing a light globe or plugging in an appliance is fine, but anything wired into the walls should be left to a licensed professional.
Yes. We handle domestic work, shop and office fit-outs, and light industrial jobs such as three-phase power, distribution boards and lighting upgrades. After-hours and weekend scheduling is available to keep disruption to your business to a minimum.
We work Monday to Saturday, 7:00 am to 10:00 pm, and we offer 24/7 emergency callouts. Call 0406 269 922 at any time for an urgent electrical problem.
Quotes & Booking
Call us on 0406 269 922, message us on WhatsApp, or use the quote form on our contact page. For many jobs, photos of your switchboard or the work area let us give a more accurate quote before we visit. Quotes are free with no obligation.
We aim to give clear upfront pricing. Where the scope is clear, we quote a fixed price. Where it depends on what is behind a wall or in the ceiling, we explain what could change the price before any work starts, so there are no surprises on completion.
We tell you about any call-out or after-hours charges before we attend, so you know the cost up front. Call 0406 269 922 and we will explain the options for your situation.
Urgent faults are prioritised, so call 0406 269 922 and we will tell you the earliest we can attend. For planned work such as a rewire, EV charger or switchboard upgrade, we give you the next available dates when we quote.
Yes. We stand behind our workmanship, including a 10-year guarantee on complete house rewires. Manufacturer warranties apply to the products we supply. Ask us for the details that apply to your job when you get your quote.
Emergencies
Yes. We offer 24/7 emergency electrical callouts across Melbourne for power outages, burning smells, short circuits, storm damage and switchboard trips that will not reset. Call us any time, day or night, on 0406 269 922.
A burning smell, sparking, smoke, exposed live wires, a power point or switchboard that is hot or melting, electric shocks, or water near electrical equipment. If it is safe to do so, turn off the power at the main switch and call us on 0406 269 922. If anyone is hurt or there is a fire, call 000 first.
First check whether your neighbours also have no power. If they do, it is likely a network fault, so contact your electricity distributor. If only your property is affected, check your safety switches and circuit breakers. If they will not stay on, or you notice a burning smell, call us on 0406 269 922 and do not keep resetting them.
First, unplug all portable appliances on that circuit and try to reset the switch. If it holds, plug appliances back in one at a time to find the faulty item. If it trips straight away with everything unplugged, do not keep resetting it. Call our 24/7 team on 0406 269 922 so we can diagnose and isolate the fault safely.
Switchboards & Safety
Old ceramic rewirable fuses only protect the wiring from overheating. They do not protect people from electric shock. Modern switchboards use RCBOs (a safety switch and circuit breaker in one) on each circuit, which cut the power within milliseconds if current leaks to earth.
Common signs are ceramic fuses, no safety switches, circuits that trip often, a hot or humming switchboard, or an old backing board that may contain asbestos. You may also need one before adding solar, an EV charger or air conditioning. Call 0406 269 922 and we can arrange an inspection.
A standard home switchboard upgrade usually takes around 3 to 4 hours, with the power off for part of that time. Larger or more complex boards take longer. We confirm the time and the power-off window when we quote.
Safety switches (RCDs) are required on new electrical work and are strongly recommended on every home, because they cut power quickly if electricity leaks to earth, for example through a person. We can test the ones you have and tell you whether your circuits are protected.
Rewires & Renovations
Warning signs include cloth or rubber-insulated cables, ceramic fuses, frequent tripping, warm or discoloured power points, a burning smell, and wiring that has not been updated since before the 1970s. An inspection is the only reliable way to know, so call 0406 269 922 to book one.
Usually yes. It is easier and cheaper to rewire or add circuits before walls and ceilings are closed up. We can inspect your existing wiring first and plan the new layout around your builder's timeline.
EV Chargers
A dedicated Level 2 EV charger (such as a Tesla Wall Connector or other Type 2 wallbox) needs an assessment of your home's electrical capacity, a dedicated cable run from the main switchboard, and a dedicated RCBO circuit. We handle the supply, cabling, installation and testing.
A standard 10A wall plug only adds roughly 10 to 12 km of range per hour of charging. A dedicated 7.4kW single-phase home charger is around 3 to 4 times faster, adding 40 to 45 km of range per hour, which is enough to charge most EVs overnight.
Sometimes. We check your supply and total load first. Many homes can take a charger as is, some need a switchboard upgrade, and others can use load management to share capacity. Call 0406 269 922 or send photos of your switchboard for advice.
Usually yes, but you need approval from the landlord or owners corporation first. We can help with the technical details to support your request, and we assess the building's electrical supply before quoting.
Lighting & Power
Modern tri-colour LED downlights use just 7W to 10W compared with 50W for traditional halogens, cutting your lighting energy use by up to 85%. They also run at much cooler temperatures, which reduces the heat load in your ceiling cavity.
Yes. We install single, double, USB-integrated and smart power points inside, as well as IP66 weatherproof outdoor outlets for gardens, patios, outdoor kitchens and shed workshops.
In Victoria, replacing downlights, power points and switches involves fixed 240V wiring, so it must be done by a licensed electrician. Call 0406 269 922 for a free quote.
Data & Security
We supply and install high-definition IP camera systems with network video recorders (NVRs), smartphone live view, security sensor lighting and alarm systems for homes and businesses.
Yes. We set up the mobile app on your phone so you can view live footage and recordings from anywhere with an internet connection, and we show you how to use it before we leave.
Yes. We run compliant Cat6 and Cat6A structured data cabling, patch panels, data wall outlets and Wi-Fi access point cabling for stable, fast internet connections in home offices and businesses.
